How can we out the fraud in charge of our team?
The man is not even trying to win games for us now.

Morgan played well all season and can't get a kick. We've got creative players on the bench who may as well be at home having a wank.

The team are playing like strangers, with no attacking game plan.

Allardyce is limping through this season and yet still considered with a chance of renewal.

Is it time for one final strong push from the fans to finally out this wretched curse on our club.

I accept the team has performed ok in the last 3 seasons...but ask yourself...would any other bob average manager have done any worse?

We've a loser in charge. His mentality is dour. He needs to go.

What would it take as clearly performance of the first team isn't the determining factor in the boards eyes?!

Do you? I don't.

To only use 1 sub in that game is terrible. We were being outplayed by a team going down.

Maybe you could understand if we were comfortably ahead against a good opposition. But hanging on against that shower of shit?

Where's the ambition?

Re: How can we out the fraud in charge of our team?
We got promoted. We stayed in the division twice, both times roughly mid table.

That is ok performance/outcome from where we were post Grant. But I wouldn't call it excelling. In that time we've spent the money to achieve at least that.

But enough is enough.

I hate him
I hope he goes at end of season or now if possible

BUT

Can you blame him for not giving a shit now, given that he knows his job is pretty much finished?

He's earning a fortune a month. Why shouldn't he be doing his absolute fucking best for us.

Re: How can we out the fraud in charge of our team?
I agree but I still think he has given up the ghost. You could never prove he isn't giving 100% but as u say in OP the team lacks cohesion these days and there are no new tactics or inspiration.

I really think he and many others are just going through the motions until this manager situation is sorted. The BERKS think they are being 'clever' or 'loyal' by stating they don't discuss manager issues till a week after the season but actually, I think that tactic has caused this massive slump on the pitch and the slump I am picking up from the terraces. Nobody really gives a poo at the moment until the said matter is sorted one way or another.

Have to add that Noble has got progressively worse as the season has gone on too.

Pay him off with several buckets of fish heads.

Just thought I'd get that one in...

Re: How can we out the fraud in charge of our team?
How do you know what the board is thinking or the determing factors are? Or are you just going to say because they haven't sacked him? Surely because of where we sit it just makes sense to ride the last few games of his contract out?

Stubbo 6:56 Sat Apr 25
Re: How can we out the fraud in charge of our team?
No need to pay him off. Just stick him on gardening leave and put someone who gives a fuck in charge. Easy.

At least it would send a signal that the players are playing to impress a new man, and the fans would know action is being taken.

Plus all Sam's hangers on would know it's buck their ideas up, or they are off too.

They have come out and said they wont be talking about the manager position till one week after last game.

Leaves everyone clutching at straws

Re: How can we out the fraud in charge of our team?
If you look at it in depth, that in and of itself is mental.

I'm not quite sure what principle they think they are supporting by taking that line? If we we're rick bottom would they have stomached this run and stuck to this 'principle'? Unlikely!

It's not 'supporting' the manager, as he's out of contract so keeps him in limbo too. They're either happy and would extend, or are not.

The stance is bizarre. They're the only ones in the game doing it, and they should have the front to come out and say truthfully why they are doing it...whether it's because the team has achieved what they need to this season, because if Sam can turn it around they will renew him, or whatever it is.

Uncertainty erodes confidence in everyone. Sam's psyche in my opinion is actually fragile and under pressure he wilts while deflecting at every turn, which in turn erodes the players and supporters confidence and belief.

It's terrible management from the very top of our club, and the indecisiveness and lack of direction is shows is permeating down.

Re: How can we out the fraud in charge of our team?
Huh? It's nothing new, they have done it previously with his contract. I can't believe you think this is the reason for the slump?

What alternative would you suggest? I'm not sure the owners have any other option.

OK LGC, whats the reason for the slump in your opinion?

LJC 7:15 Sat Apr 25
Re: How can we out the fraud in charge of our team?
Could be anyone of a hundred reasons! Injuries, fatigue, dressing room unrest but the one I favour is a change in tactics. Simple fact is we were winning games with a different set up. This has absolutely nothing to do with a contract being signed but you carry on:

IMO, its a rudderless ship.... on another note thank you for the permission to carry on developing my own theories and opinions - much appreciated.

Alex V.

There's about 30 people on the staff who wouldn't do any worse than he has on the run we're on:

Potts
McDonald
Sheringham

To name 3 easy candidates who wouldn't be worse.

Fuck, Sullivan's elder son picking the team Football Manager style would work out better at the moment.

I fancy Sullivan's left bollock would show more intent.

Ah but you're assuming he will definitely be let go. I think the owners are undecided, which limits what they can do.

Even if they didn't want to renew his deal, it doesn't necessarily follow that they want to publicly sack him (and antagonise the players who are loyal to him). They can just let his contract run out and smooth the transition.
